Amy Acosta is an internationally acclaimed cheerleading choreographer and coach out of Dallas, TX and has been winning competitions for over fifteen years now.

 

After getting her start in competitive gymnastics where she was ranked among the top twenty five in the state of Texas, Amy moved on to the world of competitive cheerleading when she joined the three time national champion Duncanville High School cheerleading squad in 1989. She began coaching gymnastics and cheerleading when she was sixteen and has been teaching and coaching both nationally and internationally for over fifteen years now.

 

As a previous gym owner, who has now moved on to the role of independent choreographer, Amy often consults with her clients on the business side of gym ownership during her visits to choreograph routines. As a mother of four (Chloe is 11, Cameron is 12, and the twins are in their first year), Amy understands the hectic dual-lifestyle of business owner and full-time parent.

 

From all star teams to school and individual competitions, her winning

routines have not only crossed the nation, but the ocean as well. For the past two years she has been hand-picked to choreograph for London's Palace Crystals cheer team who compete internationally and recently premiered in a pop music video.

 

Whether it's five year olds or teenagers, Amy caters her routines to fit

the student and their ability level and makes a personal connection to

everyone she coaches.
